Just kids going to school Wow, 13 pages in and we already have someone crying foul! And it's the worst kind of foul... plagiarism...

Well, I for one have never heard of Dr. Xcalibur. This page just takes place in the morning when kids normally go to school. Richard wrote this page to show Jared's misconceptions regarding what some people in Venture city might call the ghetto.

As much as I'm looking forward to X-men first class, we really had no plan to show a "school for the gifted" here.

None of these kids have powers. Of all the characters on the panel, only Jared and the guy watching from the window are heroes. Everyone else is just regular people going about this day.

While the page didn't come off as "ghetto" as we hoped, the idea is this place, as Yonder says, is just an apartment. No secret passages. No anti-aircraft missiles. Just an apartment.

Also, fyi, you can't copyright an idea.
